January flew by like it was a dream. Mr. Jardine and myself have been on the phone non-stop since the beginning of the year. Now that I have a chance to come up for air, I wanted to remind the rest of you out there that we have a 1 week Systems Course and a 4 week Manager’s course being offered in March. THAT IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! These courses are designed to expand on skill sets that are already established. So, if you have been in the Private Service Industry for 5 years or more and have been following Starkey International, wanting to know our systems….NOW is the time to register!

Education 2009

Friday, January 30th, 2009

January 2009 classes are underway and we are pleased to be back in the Classroom.  The first class of the year was a patented Systems Course for Household Management.  Students were from all over the country, from Estate Managers to Enlisted Aides for the top ranking general officers of our Military.   As instructors,  it is always gratifying to have highly motivated and professional students absorbing the Service Management Model.  Our classes were intense with students bringing their thoughts to the marketplace of ideas.  From crafting a Service Vision to mastering zoning the physical structures we can truly say they “got it.”   We believe the students left at the end of the week with a new direction and will be able to begin the process of organizing their environments.  A saying to live by is  “Don’t Agonize—Organize!”

We look forward to great things this year for Starkey International.  In just a few short months, we will be rolling out our updated service management software that will be Mac and PC friendly.  Stay tuned to see the official date…..   Our  102nd class is presently underway and our students are answering the call to “raise the standard,”  we have made some adjustments in the housekeeping curriculum to monitor the students proficiency in housekeeping—it is working.  Contact us in the Education Department or Admissions for information on our classes.

Talk to you Soon,

Ms.Debra Bullock and  Mr. Bill Althoff
