Ingleside Golf Resort and Conference Center
Artist purchases Ingleside; plans for exclusive high-end resort

(Staunton, VA) – A music artist and fashion designer has purchased the historic Ingleside
Golf Resort and Conference Center. Lily Ivor says she plans to renovate the 448-acre site with
plans to turn it into a private and exclusive international destination resort and boutique catering
to heads of state, international royalty, and VIPs.
The property will be rebranded as Caly® International Resort and Ingleside Golf Club
and will serve as the headquarters of Ivor’s Marble Entertainment Group. In addition to a new
live theater, The Showhouse w/Lily Ivor, plans are in the works for villas, wine vineyard, chef’s
organic garden, and a boutique offering products from Ivor’s own merchandise lines.
Additionally, the spa and resort will utilize hygiene products created by Ivor.
The golf course at Ingleside, nestled in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley, was designed
by Fred Findlay and Raymond F. Loving, Junior and opened in 1928. The par 72 course offers
6,405 yards of golf from its blue tees.
Ivor has already announced plans to retain Eric Cobb as Ingleside’s Director of Golf and
General Manager. Cobb has held that position at Ingleside since 2004 and has been a member of
the PGA for more than twenty years. He was the 2008 ESPN / Callaway National Champion.
Award-winning architect, Andrew H. Green, has been tapped by Ivor to design
developments that will be constructed on the property. Green’s designs have been recognized by
top publications, such as Golf Digest. He has worked on several popular golf courses, including
Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio and Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York.
Mary Starkey of Starkey International, known as the First Lady of Service, will consult
on the hiring of the development’s staff, including butlers. Starkey is world-renowned for her
work in educating and training employees of the high-end service industry. She has appeared on
The Today Show, Good Morning America, the BBC, and has been interviewed by publications
such as Vanity Fair and Forbes.
Clients traveling to the resort by private plane will be able to access it via the Shenandoah
Valley Regional Airport. Located a short drive from the resort, the airport can land aircraft as
large as Boeing 767s. It also offers concierge services for high-end passengers.
In addition to entertaining client-members with her fashion, Ivor and her orchestra will
also perform during select ultra-luxury exhibitions and exclusive events. A throwback to the oldtime
glamour of American show business, Ivor is signed to Nashville-based independent record
label ATG Records, with whom she is a featured talent collaborating with world-renowned
arranger, producer, and composer, Steve W. Mauldin.
