Dear Starkey Patron;
Starkey International and I extend our sincere appreciation to you for your donation to Restoring the Art (RTA) Student Assistance Fund. RTA is a not-for-profit and maintains its 501c(3) status. Starkey and 4,000 other small vocational schools lost all funding support in the recent economic turn and we are most grateful for your generosity.
All donations will be utilized to support student’s efforts in attending Starkey and entering the Private Service Industry as an educated professional. Service has long been seen as a non-educable and domestic population, which continues to serve a servant mentality and a historical slave cycle. To continue to have service providers available to the high-net-worth, Service must continue to be elevated to an educated “Service as an Expertise” and as a Profession.
My great appreciation,
Mary Louise Starkey
First Lady of Service
CEO Starkey International
Restoring the Art® is a Colorado Non-Profit 501 (c)(3). Restoring the Art® has been guided over the years by an advisory board made up of Starkey Alumni, Household and Estate Industry Veterans, Butlers, Military Enlisted Aides, Private Chefs, Personal Assistants, Employers, Luxury Hotels, Private Service Schools, Placement Agencies, and Vendors who serve the Luxury Marketplace. In recent years, RTA has focused on Starkey Alumni with yearly gatherings to learn and grow together. We have hosted wonderful 9 course dinners and garden parties at the Mansion with all our patrons, alumni and friends. We have experienced wonderful stories about the Queen from our British guests; gained perspective from the Director of Service of the Ritz Paris; tasted special wine and spirits from the finest wineries around the world; and have been introduced to the finest of luxury products.
Today, RTA provides educational funding assistance for military students. In appreciation for Starkey Benefactor, The Satter Foundation, and Patron support, Starkey gratefully acknowledges and honors them; and for Starkey Graduates, Starkey challenges all to grow educationally to their fullest potential.
Dear Starkey Graduates,
We are extending a warm invitation for our Starkey Weekend Retreat this October. We will be hosting a first-come, first-served intimate gathering of 20 Graduates at The Starkey Mansion. Come to connect, rejuvenate and be inspired!
It’s hard to work in this profession alone. Come to work through the challenges and celebrate the wonderful opportunities you share with your fellow Service Hearts.
Our first gathering last fall was so well-received that we want to keep serving our Graduates to grow in their professions in the safe, luxurious environment of The Starkey Mansion.
Relax with our morning yoga/meditation sessions, or book a massage with our private masseuse. We will also be offering four relevant and fun workshops designed to serve you in thriving in your roles as Household/Estate Managers.
Come prepared to share your stories, enjoy your friendships and restore the art of Private Service.
