Placement Update

Certified ManagersLast week was very exciting for us in the Placement Department. We began on a path of discovery that examined our dedication to Starkey’s applicants,  as they become graduates.

Our question was how to better support future students through the admissions process and into the placement phase.  This led to a new “Education First” process. Launching this program has galvanized admissions and placement departments.  This means that an applicant, thinking about enrolling at Starkey International, will have access to the placement department to ask any questions, outline the process, and begin a relationship with placement from their very first steps.

We are excited about this new project. Both the Admissions Department and the Placement Department are looking forward to hearing feedback from applicants, students, and Certified Household Manager graduates.

What does it take to maintain your quality of life? What price would you put on your peace of mind?

Each candidate will bring a unique set of skills, service-style knowledge, and experiences that will need to be matched with your own.

Experienced individuals are typically seeking large estates and/or multiple residences that can provide them the challenge they desire. Their experience is reflected in their skill level as well as their ability to anticipate needs. Salaries for experienced Household Managers generally range from $80k to $200k annually, plus benefits and housing.

Newly Certified Household Managers have completed extensive training through the Starkey International Institute of Household Management. Armed with the Starkey System, these individuals are flexible and eager to succeed, adapting easily to a household or family’s service style. Salaries range from $50k to $80k annually, plus benefits and housing.

Both New Graduates and Experienced Veterans require one to three months to assess your specific preferences and service style as well as one to three additional months to implement your unique Service Management Plan.

Employment Assistance for Graduates

Starkey Employment AssistanceStarkey and Associates, Inc., the sister company to Starkey International, has set the standard in the Private Service Management placement industry since 1981. Assistance and placement information and ongoing placement opportunities are available at no cost to all alumni in good standing.

As a matter of professional ethics, Starkey International cannot and does not guarantee placement to any graduate, nor will Starkey solicit placement opportunities for Employer-sponsored or active military students.

Our Placement Department is committed to finding the right and rewarding employment opportunity for each Certified Graduate. Starkey’s “criteria” for placement is based on a mutual evaluation and matching process of the position requirements and Employer’s values, matched with the personal characteristics and technical skills of the Graduate.

Great Summer – by Thomas Buder

We had a hot but productive summer here at the residence, many large projects and keeping up with 4 acres of lush property. A new fence and gate project of which I was asked to oversee from inception to finish is now almost complete.

My Principals and others who know the house and property say that it has never looked as good as it does now since they purchased it in 2005. So I would assume that this means the Starkey Graduate you placed here is doing you proud.

Just hosted a party here for the high net worth friends  my Principal who share their support for our local Children’s hospital foundation. There were many here whose name you would recognize.  Photo is of the evening’s entertainment Larry Gatlin (and Brothers) and myself.  It was so wonderful.
